Graeme is a product of North West Queensland, coming from Longreach, he made Mount Isa his home almost 37 years ago.

He and his wife Lenore have had a number of successful business interests over the years, including the the Star Cinema which Graeme renovated and revitalised, a popular place for patrons in the City.

Graeme worked previously in the Electricity industry and spent years in the pay office at Mount Isa Mines, he was a member of the Clerical Union for many years.

He chairs the Finance portfolio as well as representing Council's interest on the Mount Isa Water Board; he was also responsible for the construction of the Buchanan Park project that saw our world famous Rotary Rodeo move into a brand new facility in 2007.
