A T T E N T I O N P E O P L E O F M O U N T I S A | The Bunn-Molony People's Party shelved the weir project this was to the cost of $800,000. Then the Bunn-Molony People's Party got rid of the city's CEO. The payout of his contract together with the cost of recruiting a new CEO will run over $300,000 minimum. The Bunn-Molony People's Party promised to fix the Abel Smith storm water drainage problem within the first six months of taking office. At a Council Meeting on Wednesday the 23/07/08 it was stated that this project has now been put on hold indefinitely due to the importance of other work that needs doing. In their election campaign the Bunn-Molony People's Party promised that public consultation would take place - when is this going to happen. There has been no public consultation for the hundreds of thousands of dollars being spent in unbudgeted money! Who will pay for this??? Where does the money come from????? The Bunn-Molony People's Party promised not to raise our rates above CPI - 5.2% is what they are claiming the increase to be but for householders the real increase is much higher. Ratepayers will find the full extent of the increase the next time their water meter is read. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! | |
